In a terrorist attack on Sunday night, two Arab-Israeli shooters  armed with rifles shot into a group of police officers in downtown Hadera in central Israel. Two officers were killed on the spot;  a third moderately hurt. The two gunmen were neutralized by return fire from border police undercover officers.

Two Israelis, a man and a woman, were killed and six, including two Israel Police officers, were injured in a shooting attack in Hadera on Sunday evening. The shooters, two Arab-Israeli men from Umm el-Fahm, were shot dead by undercover Border Police officers who were near the scene of the attack.

The attackers reportedly waited for a bus to drive by before shooting towards civilians.

The attack occurred five days after an Islamist terrorist murdered four Israeli civilians in Beersheba.

Palestinian terrorist groups have called in recent weeks for increased attacks on Israelis ahead of the month of Ramadan.
